About Aura Studio
A quieter room.
Aura Studio makes one thing: gradient editions for walls that want depth without noise. Each piece is built around a dark luminous core that radiates outward through hand-tuned colour transitions — what we call the aura-bloom.
Founded in Perth in 2026, the studio operates on a deliberate principle: fewer pieces, made better, in editions small enough to matter.
Editions of 15
Every Aura piece is released in an edition of exactly 15. Most galleries print 50, 100, even open editions. We cap at 15 because at that number the piece stays rare enough to feel earned, while still letting the right rooms find it.
When an edition retires, the file is destroyed. There is no reprint.
The aura-bloom method
Each gradient is composed in studio across weeks, not hours. The dark core is calibrated against the outer halo, the halo against the room scale we believe it belongs in. Nothing is generated, sampled, or templated — every piece is built one decision at a time.
Once a piece is finalised, it goes through archival proofing at 300 DPI on Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm cotton paper, signed in the lower right, hand-numbered, and packed with a Certificate of Authenticity tied to a public edition register.
Where the pieces live
Aura editions hang in homes that choose pieces with intent — rooms with dark walls, considered lighting, and the patience to let one work hold a wall on its own. They aren't decoration. They're the moment a room turns serious.
The studio
We work from Perth, ship Australia-wide and internationally, and partner with a small set of local framers who finish pieces in matte black solid timber, washed oak, or float-mounted museum boxes.
Every email is read by the person who made the piece you're considering.
